How do I create a classroom?expand_more
To create a new classroom, navigate to the Dashboard and click the "New Classroom" button. Enter a name for your classroom and click "Create". A unique 6-character join code will be generated automatically that students can use to join your classroom.
How do students join my classroom?expand_more
Students can join your classroom by entering the 6-character join code on their app. This code can be copied by clicking the code displayed in the header area of any page. You can share this code with students through any preferred communication method.
How do I add assignments?expand_more
Navigate to the Homework section and click "Create Task". Fill in the task title, select a class from the dropdown, and choose a due date. Once complete, click "Create" to add the assignment. Students will be able to see the new assignment in their task list.
How do I change my password?expand_more
Currently, password changes must be done through the PocketBase admin interface. Contact your administrator if you need assistance with password management. Make sure to use a strong, unique password that you don't use for other services.
Can I use MiClase on multiple devices?expand_more
Yes, MiClase can be accessed from any device with a web browser. Your session and data will sync across all your devices. If you're logged out unexpectedly, please check your account status in the Students section to ensure your session hasn't been revoked.

How does my child log in to the app?expand_more
Your child's teacher shares a 6-character class code. In the MiClase app, your child enters that code and their username — no password required. The class code is auto-filled on future visits.
Can my child use the app on more than one device at the same time?expand_more
No. For security, only one device can be logged in to a student account at a time. If your child signs in on a second device, the first one is signed out automatically. Teachers can also revoke a session from their dashboard if needed.
How does my child see what homework is due?expand_more
Open the app and tap the Tasks tab to see the day's assignments, organized by subject. Pull down to refresh for the latest updates. MiClase does not send push notifications, so remind your child to check the app each day.
What happens when my child marks a task as complete?expand_more
Marking a task complete records their progress and can affect their streak. If a completed task is unmarked, the app will warn that streak progress may be lost.
Does MiClase work without an internet connection?expand_more
MiClase needs an internet connection to load new tasks, events, and achievements. Recently-viewed pages may stay visible briefly thanks to a short in-memory cache, but there is no offline mode.
Is the app available on iPhone?expand_more
MiClase is currently available for Android. An iOS version is planned but not yet released. Teachers can always access the web dashboard from any browser at miclase.app.
