Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MiClase services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Description of Service
MiClase provides a digital school agenda platform for students and teachers in Central America. Our services include classroom management, assignment tracking, event scheduling, and student achievement monitoring, along with optional paid subscription plans — MiClase Plus for individual teachers and MiClase Academy for teams and institutions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to share your account credentials with third parties. Teachers are responsible for the accuracy of the student information they enter and for keeping parent or guardian contact details up to date.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by MiClase and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans (Plus and Academy) are billed monthly through PayPal. PayPal, not MiClase, processes your payment card and bank details; we only retain the PayPal subscription identifier tied to your account. You can cancel a subscription at any time from within MiClase or directly through your PayPal account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by applicable law. Academy seats are billed per active seat, and you will be charged only for the seats in use during each billing cycle.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiClase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
